TOLL BILLs

All vehicles traveling over the Tappan Zee Bridge or Henry Hudson Bridge without an E-ZPass Tag will receive a Toll Bill. The Toll Bill will be sent to the registered owner of the vehicle. E-ZPass customers who travel without an E-ZPass Tag in their vehicle and whose license plate is not listed on their E-ZPass Account may also receive a Toll Bill.

Customers with Passenger Vehicles

A registered owner of a passenger vehicle will receive a Toll Bill for their toll facility usage. The method of billing is similar to a Utility bill, whereby each bill contains new transactions and overdue amounts, plus any late fee associated with a previously unpaid bill. The most recent Toll Bill received by a Private Customer will contain all open transactions and fees that must be paid.

Transactions remaining unpaid after two bills will be escalated to violations and additional fees will be assessed.

Customers with Non-Passenger Vehicles

A registered owner of a non-passenger vehicle will receive a Toll Bill for their toll facility usage. The utility bill approach is not used for non-passenger vehicle Toll Bills. Each bill must be paid independently. Overdue amounts will not be carried forward in the next bill with new transactions.

A single reminder of an overdue bill payment shall be sent, with a late fee added. Transactions remaining unpaid after an overdue bill reminder will be escalated to violations and additional fees will be assessed.
